I've been in love with glaive's latest album, the songs are all jammers and the messaging behind them is really deep and cool to learn about. When I heard the album I wanted to try and capture that same magic in BS and i'm proud of what became of it. Hope you enjoy <3

TY @nasafrasa for modeling the satellite dish in the environment!

For best experience do enable custom song colors and for single saber to disable custom notes so chroma colors work properly.

First of all a warm thank you to @XAce1337manX, @Alice and @TOFU for their guest difficulties.
It's lovely to see such different takes to this song.
Also special thanks to ETAN for talking me out of the worst creative block i've had for a while.

Basically this is my unintended Mapperversary project. 4 years of mappi- well... Mostly lighting!
More i learn the more i realize there is to learn. Even if my motivation fluctates from time to time and quality varies, i'm not stopping anytime soon.

I still want to adjust lighting to fit the map and add downmaps but there are some things that i need to take care of first and i'd rather wait for editor to be less of a pain.

Hope you enjoy.

Goofy ah tech angles collab with @winteredge

'Di ko akalain na gagawa ako ng mapa na filipino song pero ito na. siguro maghahanap pa ako ng mga gusto kong kanta pero ngayon ito muna kasi mabagal tsaka relaxing.

Yung map naman tema ng Pilipinas so goofy heh heh heh kasi sinabi ko kay Winter na kung ano mang maisip na pattern, ilagay nya. So halos o walang mga set up para sa mga patterns.

Hello tech players, and to all non-tech players! I present waltzcore.

This map was really interesting to do when it was entirely in thirds as it gave me so much variety, and strange ways to make flow work. I also believe that this genre of music can bring new light to mapping. I'd like to thank everyone for those who've test played it, and the support that I've received while working on it.

If you really don't like tech, try Easy or Expert difficulties (mapped by Fatalution)

EXTRA:
This is for anyone that cares about the background of this map, and what challenges I faced.

This is a map that I've been emotionally attached to these last 6 months, and when I was mapping I've started to grow depressed. The lyrics were related to what I was experiencing at the time; and In a way, I was mapping to specifically impress someone, which I learned didn't make me happy to do, and I think no one should ever do. I've found it pleasing to create things for myself in order to improve, and I'd like to think that I've become a better person in doing so.

This is only one out of the other songs that Vylet made that has affected me this much, and I'd appreciate it if you did check out more of her work. I initially started the map with the purpose of getting more people to hear more of her music.

El Dorado - Stellar

Four months ago I lost my closest friend @lonely. Not a day has gone by that she hasn't been on my mind and I miss her more than anything...
Lily was somebody who wanted nothing more than to help others and spread positivity. She was incredibly talented and I was always in awe at just how creative her mind was. I'm so unbelievably grateful for the years I got to share with her as my best friend. I'll forever hold onto the moments we shared, and all the valuable lessons and information she taught me. I owe everything I know when it comes to lighting from her, and I just hope I do her proud <3

I wanna thank everyone who helped and contributed to this map, whether that be mapping, lighting, or just technical help.

"I never knew Lily personally, but her impact on the Beat Saber community was, and continues to be, an incredibly tangible influence on countless mappers, lighters, and players alike. RIP Lily, you will be missed, but never forgotten. " - Symphonic

Another pop song, I've been finding a lot of fun-to-map pop songs recently. Might start mapping more calm songs for the sake of making actual fun maps for a bit. I've had a lot of fun mapping my most recent maps.

reuploaded Jan 1, 2025: to fix walls on 30 seconds to 40 seconds and its same copy paste after the first chorus on Expert, Expert+ and Lawless

Very addicting song with a map that kind of mapped itself with the dance.
I didn't make the Lawless as difficult and just made it a more techy dance map, although you kind of have to overexaggerate the momentum quite a bit to get the dancey angles.

Enjoy!

Perfect escape from the London tube strike this week, LMAO.

Originally, I wasn’t planning to make a Fitbeat since it’s more of a slow-attitude song, but the bridge is sooo long and they keep singing 'drop it low low low,' which basically forced me to make one. So… yeah, I ended up doing a Fitbeat too, LOL.

I was planning on making this one bullshit, but I don't have that in me yet. Still it came around being more tech than previous ones. Also was trying to give it a bit of a dancy feel.

Lovers of slow songs, unite. I bring to you a 75 BPM jewel, with something for different types of people.

- Top slow tech diff with extreme postures (performative) and more than a few towers and a little bit over the top cosmetic arcs. (Preview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_I3fXyDE2KQ )
I recommend keeping a higher than usual reaction time to play this map and be able to read the patterns and adjust the posture comfortably.
- Acc diff for those that just want to cut some blocks very slowly.
- v3 light show that I'm actually kind of proud of if you just want to enjoy the vibe. (Preview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZfsSP-hRnk )

No bombs and no walls to be found anywhere :D

This is one of the few songs that despite having spent so much time on, I'm still not tired of. It's such a unique, impactful, satisfying song. I hope the maps and light show make it justice.

Thanks to @GalaxyMaster for timing support (this song is weird, but that be Igorrr for you). I might need to have a permanent "thank you" to GalaxyMaster on my profile page since he helps me one way or another in pretty much every map. Also @professor_calculus and @pleo for testplays.
